ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joyce C. Mills, PhD, is a Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, international trainer, and recipient of the Play Therapy International award for a major contribution to the field of Play Therapy and Child Psychology. Author of several books for all ages, she specializes in storytelling as a healing process. Dr. Mills has a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Cary Pillo is the illustrator of several children's books, including A Terrible Thing Happened, Tibby Tried It, and Jenny is Scared: When Sad Things Happen in the World. She lives in Seattle with her family.
